I don't know about you, but I'm not planning on having any help from Uncle Sam come retirement time. Rather than taking the risk of having nothing, I am doing everything possible in my early career to ensure that I'll be set up for retirement. Whether you are still in college, just getting started in your professional career, or been working for a while, there is something to be learned by all. After all, what's better than the American Dream and retiring with a million bucks in the bank (at least!)?
We all have different visions of retirement; If it is something that has not crossed your mind, let me help you and plant the seed. I think the mindset of many young professionals is spend now, save later, but why wait when you can start now! Sorry, but winning the lottery is NOT a viable plan.
In order to get an idea of where people are at, I've created an awesome short (10 question) survey. I'll post it separately so it's easy to find!
